DA set to retain uMngeni with an increased majority.
With all voting stations counted the DA can now confidently say that we have won the uMngeni municipality by more than 60%.
The DA has won an incredible 10 out of 13 wards including 5 wards previously held by the ANC.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who stood up against chaos and voted for progress.
Official results will be declared by the IEC and thereafter the new council will be sworn in.
