Thank you to our friends at Mount Verde for inviting our Grade 3 and 5 children to visit your farm and pick sunflowers. During their visit, our boys and girls headed into the field to pick their own sunflowers, observe the different stages of growth, and engaged with nature in a way that creates curiosity and practical learning.
.The visit was made extra special, having past pupil, Philip de Jager (Class of 2000) teach our boys and girls all they needed to know.
What a way to start a Monday!
"Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow. It's what sunflowers do." –Helen Keller
