Congratulations to Laddsworth Primary School on a successful Unveiling Ceremony for the opening of their new Groenekloof Road main gate. Mayor Chris Pappas attended the event, giving a speech and cutting the ribbon.
This entrance has long been in the planning phase after first being suggested by well-known architect, property developer and artist Nick Crooks (The Old Mushroom Farm). His vision is now a reality, which, when spring arrives will be underlined by an attractive planting and well laid walkway. Look out for the Iceberg standard roses which are preparing to bloom!
The Laddsworth Estate and pupil portfolio have both flourished, seeing extensive growth and development under Principal Gavin Lambooy, who since joining the school in 2013, has effectively taken on both leadership and development of this wonderful asset for our Hilton community. All a fitting reflection of the school's motto: Aim High.
