???? ???????????????????????????? ???????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????????????????? - ???????????????????????????????? ????????????????????????????????Once upon a time, last century, last millennium, 31 years ago, it was a bitterly cold, wet and windy night. I was standing in a queue in the then Grahamstown in a building that had begun life as a jail. There was a sign saying RED WINE & CURRY. By the time we reached the front of the queue, around midnight, there was absolutely nothing to eat or drink. This sparked an idea. Exactly two months later the Hilton Arts Festival was born. In 1993 we presented 6 productions, each performing twice each, there was a beer tent and nothing else. We sold out! The only time EVER!! Come and see how it has grown. Let’s try to sell out again.
