Online entries for the much-loved Durban SPAR Women’s 10/5km Challenge closed at midnight on Sunday 18 June but participants will still have a chance to enter manually at the race registration on Friday, 23 and Saturday, 24 June.The Challenge which takes place on Sunday 25 June, is back in full force after a hiatus of three years, and participants are assured of a fun-filled day with friends and family in true SPAR style. The start-of-race fun will be hosted by well-known actress and TV presenter, Thandy Matlaila. Medals will be handed out at the finish and there are over R70,000 worth of lucky draw prizes to be won. Dladla Mshunqisi promises to have all up on their feet dancing to the rhythm of his beats.
Participants must collect their Race Packs and goodie bags at the Coast of Dreams, Durban Exhibition Centre on Friday, 23 June from 10:00 to 18:00 and Saturday, 24 June from 10:00 to 16:00. Free parking will be available on the South Plaza, accessed via Gate C off Walnut Road and Gate D off Aliwal Street.
A manual entry option (no cash, only credit or debit cards) is available (subject to the limit of 10,000 not having been reached) at the race registration.
