This past weekend two historic Hilton Schools meet each other on the cricket field. Laddsworth celebrating its 120th birthday, and Cowan House its 75th. To celebrate the fixture, a pre-match ceremony was held, with the two 1st XI captains and vice-captains exchanging engraved bats and 1st team caps. Tea time saw the two headmasters, Mr. Braans and Mr. Lambooy, share some words and cut the special Laddsworth 120 and Cowan House 75th cakes, made by Hilton Quarry SPAR, and were enjoyed by all the teams. Overall a great day of cricket to celebrate two great Hilton Schools.
