Arbor Day at Laddsworth saw the Eco-Club present and plant one of the 3 trees added to the Laddsworth Estate. What made this tree special is that it was grown from a sapling of the old Celtis Africana that had shaded the Grade 1 Kelly Garden for many years, but had unfortunately fallen over in the first term due to a bad storm. The tree was planted right next to where its predecessor once stood tall and we hope it will one day again provide shade to the Laddsworth pupils reading in the Kelly Garden.More about Laddsworth Primary School
