'After entering an artwork to the Sasol New Signatures earlier this year, my sculpture "Escapade" made it through the 1st round.100 Artworks per drop off area (found all around the country) were selected and were then sent to Pretoria for the final round of selection.
Once selected, the chosen works are curated, forming the Sasol New Signatures exhibition at the Pretoria Art Museum. Here, the artworks are judged individually, based on the concept, use of material, quality of craftsmanship, and skill demonstrated.
I am grateful for the opportunity that Sasol has provided me and many other talented artists throughout the country and would like to say a huge Thank you to them.
