Households in Winterskloof, Hilton are doing what they can to compensate for non-delivery of road repairs. We appreciate the efforts of the Klein and Rautnbach families whose garden workers; Steve Zondi (pictured here LHS) and Nkululeko Zuma (RHS) began clearing drainage inlets and digging furrows today to better manage the water flow during this rainy season. This project will hopefully reduce the damaging impact of heavy water pummeling lower sections of Valley Road.
News of this endeavour was shared and swiftly resulted in a number of additional garden workers being made available to assist in getting the task completed before the clouds open up again.
Hilton has a backbone and through community unity, this area will continue to thrive.
