Laddsworth Grade 6 pupils learned about electric circuits, as part of the Natural Sciences and Technology curriculum. The pupils were presented with a problem: “You want to make a present to give your younger sibling; he/she likes things that move, make a noise or light up”.The Grade 6 pupils worked with partners to design make and evaluate a battery-powered electric circuit/device to solve the above problem. Their device also had to be partly made out of recycled materials.
