Another cleanup day at the Garden of Remembrance (in Azalea/Flamingo Drive) is being planned for Saturday 17th August from 8:30am till 12.00.
Hilton Business Initiative is supporting this project (their gardeners have already spent a week in the Garden and will be there another week planned from the 19th).
Please come and join , if you can (even just for an hour would be appreciated), or if you can't make it feel free to send your gardener (with tools) to help out.
We still have a lot of bug weed, thick bushes and some trees to chop down so anyone who can bring and operate chainsaws with be a huge help.
We also need help to tackle the ginger plants growing in the waterway so bringing pangas/slashers and also spades/forks to dig them out would be useful. And bring gumboots too, as this area is quite marshy!
Looking forward to making some more headway here before all the spring growth begins!
