'I am sad to hear that Hilton, KZN, has lost another of its iconic people. One always felt better after seeing Mike on his bike, white hair flowing in the wind....a sign that life goes on, even when one grows old.I loved to sit where he worked as a car guard and talk to him, while sketching...hearing his interesting life's stories.
Just the other day I sold a drawing, that I have made of him on my sewing machine, at Art in the Park in Rondebosch.
