Local residents can now get involved in contributing to the Beira Disaster Relief.The tropical cyclone Idai has destroyed 90% of the region around Beira which has left us with probably the biggest humanitarian crisis in this region ever.
We are collecting non-perishable foodstuffs like canned foods, rice, beans, sugar, salt, cooking oil, flour, etc as well as blankets.
The drop off point is at HCF, 3 Hilton College Rd from 8:30 - 16:00 Tuesday - Friday.
As soon as we have enough for a truckload it will be taken in.
