Laddsworth Primary school held its annual Athletics Field Events on 16 August and Track Events on 17 August 2018.
Grade 3 to 7 pupils took part in the event and there was great rivalry between the four Houses: Duiker, Kudu, Nyala and Oribi, with Duiker coming out the winner at the end of the two events.
Despite the cold weather 4 records were broken over the two days:
Shot Put Girls Under 11 – Danielle Kaschula (Kudu) – Distance 9,15m
High Jump Boys Under 9 – Declan Bornman (Oribi)- Height 1,11m
High Jump Girls Under 11 – Ellen Oosthuizen (Oribi) – Height 1,30m
Under 9 Boys 100m Relay –– Ayanda Kunene, Nicandro Padayachee, Cameron Dunbar and Quillan Fyvie (Oribi) – Time: 1m 09,94s
