Mieke van der Merwe, a Grade 7 pupil at Laddsworth Primary School, took part in a Pure Model World photographic modeling competition in March 2018, in Pietermartizburg, and was crowned first Princess.
Mieke was also crowned first Princess in the Pure Model Miss Valentines Competition in February 2018.
