The ‘Atomic’ Shell Hole, in Hilton, were recently honoured to have Moth Win (Wynne) Worrod present for their monthly meeting.Moth Worrod was born in England on 16th June 1922. At 94 she is in good spirits and resides at Amber Valley Frail CareCentre.
During World War 11 she was stationed at Newquay England with the RAF. Here she plotted aircraft movements both coming and going and often reported that planes had not returned. She later became a dancer and was married to Charles whom she was devoted to, and they lived many happy years in Hillside Rd in Hilton.
