Most people are concerned about the person who is disabled or ill, and the Carer (professional or private) is overlooked. They are the ones who carry a huge load, and are often not supported. The Carers need to learn how to care for themselves, as they are in it for the long haul.In this workshop, we give very practical advice on how to take care of the Carers. We are targeting Hospitals, Retirement and Frail Care facilities, people who care for those with disabilities, anyone caring for someone with a long term illness, teachers and anyone in a care-giving profession.
We had such an informative morning at our First Oakleigh "Caring for the Carer" Workshop held on 27th October 2016.
