The open day was set for success as the sun came out for the first time in days offering visitors a warm welcome to a very well organised calendar event at Laddsworth. Many nearby KZN schools were represented and the school hall was abuzz with activity.
Our Capulum College display attracted many interested parents and children. Once again, while listening to our headboy and headgirl discuss their experiences and academic progress during their time at Capulum, we realised the very important niche we are fulfilling in the education market.
Parents sought guidance and support for their children who presented with challenges from dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia to social anxiety in high density classrooms. Many parents were visibly relieved to learn that Capulum College offers not only beautiful surroundings in the heart of Hilton, with very small classes, but personal attention that was sometimes lost in larger classrooms in larger schools.
In addition to this, the fact that we offer a nurturing, caring and supportive school environment to parents as well as children, appealed to parents wanting to be fully invested in their child's education and future.
Altogether the day was a resounding success – long live the Laddsworth Expo!
