Only eight men stayed to play on Tuesday afternoon in icy conditions. On Thursday and Saturday we had clear skies and warm weather and thus many more players.
The Chicken Run was won by Chris Purchase, Colin Watson and Tony Barrington. Arthur Daugherty won the cut-throat competition. Well done to all the winners and thanks to Quarry Spar for the chickens.
The Harry Cooper Cup which was to be played on Saturday 28th June has been postponed to 12th July. The entry form for this competition is on the board.
The Men's third league team and the ladies' team finish their respective leagues this Saturday. The ladies will be at home while the men travel to Umgeni. The men's fourth team have a bye.
