Although we were worried about the rain, twenty-four intrepid bowlers gathered at the club on Tuesday afternoon to play for the monthly prizes sponsored by Lister & Lister. This month we had meal vouchers from La Popote. The winners were Des Morrish, Gill Robertson and Dave Trickett. Runners-up, Chris Purchase and his team won avocados, courtesy of John Fowler. Many thanks to Richard and John for the prizes.
The entry list for the Christmas Cup to be played on 21 December is on the board.
Jaxx Roll will take place on 18th December.
Members are reminded that subs for 2014 must be paid by 15th December.
We intend introducing a new event next year to be played on the first Friday morning of each month. Details to be published next week.
