Heather, Marianne and Anthony are passionate about animals especially when it comes to the plight of dogs and cats who end up at the SPCA after being abandoned or getting lost. They are pictured here with a collection of dog food for the SPCA. They have each committed to donate a large bag of pet food to the Umgeni SPCA every month and challenge you to do the same. To make it easier to participate, they invite you to drop your monthly pet food donation off at the Protea Hotel Hilton and enjoy a FREE cappuccino as a reward for the effort.
Heather says, 'Please make a commitment with us, if it is difficult to drop off we are willing to fetch it, but would much prefer a cappuccino with you.'
The Umgeni SPCA area includes Howick, Hilton, Cedara, Mpophomeni, Haza, Impendle, Dargle, Lidgetton, Balgowan, Karkloof and everything in between. They strive to care for all the animals they receive or collect and wherever possible to successfully adopt them out to screened home environments where they will be loved and continue to receive appropriate care. All your contributions to the SPCA will be gratefully received and put wags in tails and purrs where there once were miaows!
