Lindsay's Coffee Shop at the Lower Quarry Centre in Hilton hosted a HiltonVillage.co.za business network meeting yesterday. Lindsay Rose, who continues to work alongside the new owner's Mary-Ann and Chris Prinsloo when functions are hosted, was there. Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to meet Chris and Mary-Ann and to welcome them to the Hilton business community and voice their support.
Many new connections were made and everyone praised the delicious food provided by 'Team Lindsay'. Toasties crammed with a mushroom filling, pumpkin fritters and chicken pies were followed by Lindsay's addictive chocolate brownies. This was perfect food for a wintery evening.
In a constant effort to challenge networkers to move beyond their comfort zones and gain new perspectives and insights to their business routine, a one-on-one networking format was employed. The business owners thoroughly enjoyed the change and some even asked for more 'hard questions', which were available to encourage sharing.
