Hilton Bowling Club had good attendances this week, culminating in a full field of forty-two players in the Prickett Cup Competition on Saturday morning. The day was given an Easter flavour, with the wearing of Easter bonnets, and a "spider" with Easter eggs as prizes.

Winners were Des Morrish, Vince Seale and Mike Mylne. In second place were Tom Hartley, Taffy O'Neil-Williams and Rob Tosen. Gil van der Hoven, Tony Lenton and Bernice O'Neil-Williams won third prize, all pictured below.
The pinnacle of the day was a splendid lunch provided by Hilton Quarry SuperSpar, who also donated the very generous prize hampers. Many thanks to Quarry Spar team.
There will be normal bowls on Thursday 21 March, Human Rights Day, as well as on Easter Saturday.
Men who entered the Club Singles Championship should please check the notice board for the draw. The first round is to be played by 5th April.
