October the first was a momentous day for the Hilton community; a new vehicle could be seen patrolling our streets and carrying Hilton Bobbies to their places of work. Here the Hilton Bobbies with their bright red uniforms, radios, pepper spray, torches and friendly smiles set to work walking our neighbourhoods making them safer for the residents and more hazardous for the criminals.
These patrols happen throughout the day and night while most of us residents are at work or sleeping in our beds. The patrols are carried out on a pre-arranged but seemingly random nature, this way the criminals are less likely to be able to predict when or where the patrols will take place.
All Hilton experiences a safer environment, not just the residents but schools, shops, clubs, businesses and even visitors to our beautiful village and its surrounds. This project was started and is maintained by Red Alert in cooperation with Hilton residents and in cooperation with the Hilton police and the HCPF.
