Now in its 26th year, Funk is a highly anticipated event on the school production calendar, that unites schools in creating original six-minute dance pieces. Aimed at making dance theatre accessible and meaningful for young people, the programme encourages creativity, collaboration, and stepping beyond comfort zones. It is a non-competitive platform for artistic expression, culminating in a mass group finale featuring all participating schools.

Funk 2025 is produced by The Theatre–St Anne’s Diocesan College, directed by Ms Lynn Chemaly, with technical direction by Mrs Megan Holder and finale choreography by Ms Jess Anderson.
