Hope Trust (Hilton Christian Fellowship)
Hope Trust is a non-profit organisation started by Hilton Christian Fellowship in 2003. Our main area of work is with the poor living in Sweetwaters. Our desire is to see the poor set free to reach their full potential and become all that God has purposed for them.
Motivated by Christian values we offer three programs namely: Rescue, Restoration and Empowerment.
- Rescue/relief includes reaching out to families in dire need with non-perishable food, clothing and guidance on accessing social grants and/or applying for ID cards.
- Restoration involves counselling and/or referrals to Social Workers when necessary.
- Empowerment is addressed through Job Readiness training courses, online training courses and Wired for Business courses in partnership with Work 4 A Living. These take place at 126 Langalibalele St in Pietermaritzburg. This work reaches out to the whole Msunduzi Municipal area.
