 d Kathy Jacob combines structure and sustainability within a thoughtfully d
 esigned residential landscape.</p><p>Clipped box hedges and defined garden 
 walls create a strong architectural framework, softened by a mix of indigen
 ous and non-indigenous plantings that bring seasonal colour and contrast th
 roughout the garden. A traditional croquet lawn provides an elegant focal p
 oint, complemented by a peaceful garden pond and a selection of feature pot
 s that add interest and character to key spaces.</p><p>Sustainability is a 
 central theme of the garden’s design. A former swimming pool has been conve
 rted into an underground storage tank, forming part of an integrated water 
 harvesting system that collects runoff from gutters and greywater for use i
 n the garden’s sprinkler system. In addition, a separate rainwater harvesti
 ng tank collects water from the garage roof, supplying domestic use and fur
 ther reducing reliance on municipal water.</p><p>A small greenhouse support
 s year-round vegetable production, reflecting a practical and productive ap
 proach within the ornamental setting. Together, these elements create a gar
 den that is both visually structured and environmentally conscious.</p><p>F
