offering sweeping views of Ashburton and Cato Ridge. With its extensive co
llection of aloes and indigenous plants that thrive with minimal watering,
it’s a shining example of sustainable gardening.
Woven through the gar
den are historic millstones from the Bishop Colenso era, lending a sense of
time and story to the setting. You'll also find carvings, handcrafted meta
l garden art and other artistic elements nestled among the foliage—adding v
isual intrigue and a touch of whimsy.
Visitors can browse a beautiful
display by the Pietermaritzburg Orchid Society, with beautiful orchids avai
lable for sale, or purchase Hybrid Sunbird Aloes directly from the garden.
Garden metal ornaments will also be available for purchase from Patio Guru
Furniture, adding charm and character to your own outdoor space. Don’t miss
the chance to sample and buy locally made hard & soft cheeses, sourdou
gh bread, sourdough crackers and sourdough pastas from Bramble and Vine—del
icious Midlands treats to take home.
A selection of crafts and cakes w
ill also be on offer, with proceeds supporting PMB’s homeless. Whether you'
re a garden enthusiast, keen photographer, or simply looking for a peaceful
