Omar Wilson, a Grade 6 pupil at Laddsworth Primary School was awarded his KwaZulu-Natal Colours for Mountain Biking on Saturday 24 November 2018 in Durban.Omar achieved his colours in the Sprog Boys, Under 12 Category.
He represented KZN at the SA Downhill Championships at Hartebeespoort in April, where he came first in his category.

He also represented KZN at the Enduro Championships at Karkloof in October, where he came first again. Omar came 2nd at the Spur XCO School Series and 2nd at the ROAG Marathon Series in his category.
