Hilton and Howick Rotary Club
The Rotary Club of Hilton and Howick is part of Rotary, a global network of 1.2 million neighbours, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
We provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
Solving real problems takes real commitment and vision. For more than 110 years, Rotary's people of action have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects. From literacy and peace to water and health, we are always working to better our world, and we stay committed to the end. Rotary members believe that we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues.
Our club is one of 35 000+ across the work, which work together to:
• Promote peace
• Fight disease
• Provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
• Save mothers and children
• Support education
• Grow local economies

Heartfelt Gratitude
On behalf of the learners, teachers and parents I wish to thank the Hilton and Howick Rotary Club for the donation of 10 bicycles to Bruntville Primary School in Mooi River on 23 October 2019. It is a wonderful gift indeed. Through it I have discovered that many of our learners were unable to ride bicycles and we have now started a riding club. Every afternoon Grade 1 learners come to ride bicycles taking turns. It is a big gift to them which makes them enjoy coming to school. They also ride bicycles at break times. I kindly request that you extend our heartfelt gratitude to all members of the Club.
